Is the shoe box sized box that USPS has a flat rate priority box? How much does it cost to ship it? (I'm not shipping shoes, it would just be the perfect sized box.)

There is no similar sized box that is Flat Rate. There are only 2 sizes of Flat Rate boxes currently available. There is a third one coming within a month that is about 50% larger that the current ones. It also has a higher rate.
Be sure that the Flat Rate box is your best option. Sometimes, depending on the weight and distance, the Flat Rate is more than the regular Priority Mail rate.
