I dug a favorite pair of leather oxfords out of storage to wear to a job interview today. They had 3 horrible indentations/creases in the toe area from something in that box pressing into them. I called the shoe repair place, they were no help. I called a leather shop, who said to try warm, soapy water, and that didn't work. Anybody know what to do to fix them? I hate to think they're ruined, they've hardly been worn! Serious answers, please! Thanks!
How do I get indentations out of leather shoes?
Shoe trees will stretch it out after a while.
Reply:Pour gasoline into and over them then drop a lit match on them. This should get the indentations out.
Reply:i'm sorry, but I think they are ruined.
Reply:use a shoe stretcher place it inside the shoe and push the shoe round it if the leather has hardened rub saddle soap into the inside first to soften it
don't put it on the outside or you will be unable to get a shine
Reply:Not ruined, but not a quick fix. A shoe horn and saddle soap. Keep applying one and applying pressure with the other.
