Breaking in pointe shoes?

i have had my pointe shoes for about a month and they are broken in at the center where the top of the arch is on your foot but they need it more in the box area about an inch below the top of the arch, What is the best way to break these in?

About how long will it take for me to have them completely broken in?

Does getting them a little wet and putting them in the door work???

Breaking in pointe shoes?
well, i tryed the wetting and butting them in a door, but i was a little vicouios and ended up breaking the plank insde of the pointe shoe.

what i did was but on a thin pair of socks and just wore them around my house, when i was just chillen at home, and this really helped to break mine in, after about 2 weeks.
Reply:Go on demi-pointe and apply rubbing alcohol to where your shoe creases...it works like a charm.

P.S....You can put it on any other part of your shoe too....just make sure to break them in IMMEDIATLEY after you apply the rubbing alcohol.
Reply:Please don't put any foreign substances on your pointe shoes and don't under any circumstances put your shoes in a door. All you will do is ruin your shoes or severely shorten the life of the shoes. Go to your teacher and ask for exercises that will work with your level of dance to work on the arch of your shoe. Your shoes may have been too hard for your level to begin with. Your teacher may also be able to slightly ply the arch to give it more bend by using her hands. If you are not trained to do it you will more than likely break your expensive shoes.
