Have you ever gotten your shoes shined by the shoeshine man?

I have, plenty of times. The real shoeshine man with his booth at Antone's. You sit up on the box and he'll get your gig shoes shinin'!!! ($5.00)

Have you ever gotten your shoes shined by the shoeshine man?
I had a shoe shine business for 8 years .I had 3 chairs. One stationary and 2 for horse shows,clubs,events. etc . Myself and all my workers were women..I did quite well. There is a art to it. I did dyes %26amp; leather inhancement to keep leather alive %26amp; soft... It a dying art. And, Yes, I have had my shoes %26amp; boots done many times.. Ya got to train your help to put out good shines and work with people one on one...Some boots I worked on cost as much or more than a $1.000.00 So,no room for mess ups...Thanks

Reply:Yes ,the best shoeshine there was! but for my shoes he had to use his special plaster shine mix.
