I have a clearance sale on at the minute, but not moving, I am in a small town outside waterford city, so I am looking for ideas as to where I can sell them at a really stupid price, they are all brand new and boxed, please dont say ebay, I have too many, Thanks
I have large selection of various shoes, ( closing down a shop) any ideas please on who to sell them onto?
Instead of selling them individually on ebay, why not sell them as job lots of perhaps 10 pairs at a time. That way it will be much less hassle for you, and someone else gets a chance to make something too.
Reply:you should try ebay...just kidding, it would probably be best if you found a local flee market or something were different retailers or people can go and see their items, or try some type or garage sale type idea...
Reply:could you not sell them onto another shop?
maybe a market? flea market?
Reply:sell em on ebay!!! Im always buying shoes off ebay!! let me know via email if you do put em up!!!
Reply:a community yard sale may be an idea, some of the churches in my area have a community bake / yard sale, you pay maybe $10 for a table, and it is open to the whole community.
I know it wouldn't get your money back, but maybe you could even donate some to homeless shelters and orphanages or foster homes.
I love shoes, I wish you were in my area.
Good Luck!
Reply:Bring them to a consignment shop.
Reply:What about either a closeout store like Big Lots, or even though you said no eBay, there are vendors on eBay who buy lots of merchandise from companies for relisting - look at one of those.
Depending on your situation, you may be able to give some to charity for a tax writeoff
Or try a flea market
Reply:Wow, that's pretty awesome. I would try to have a garage sale, although the weather is getting cold. You could have a private sale for just your friends. If you attend a church, offer to sell them to them, either to the people, or the church in general to use for plays and stuff. Ooh, speaking of plays, you could sell them to a local school or something. www.swapstyle.com -- lets you buy, sell, and trade things. Kinda like an e-bay but with just fashion and make-up things. Good luck to you!
Ooh, one more place. If you have a local theatre, you should really sell them to them! I'm in alot of shows, and the theatre in our area is always look for costume items, and shoes are a most! It would be helping them alot.
