What kind of dog can i get that will fit in a shoe box for its bed?
Why%26gt;? Why would you want a dog that can fit in a shoe box?
Reply:A toy one
Reply:a chiawauwa I've seen women with them in their handbags --- so a shoe box is no problem once you (ahem ) tuck them in lol ! good luck
Reply:a beanie baby stuffed animal
Reply:First of all, if you are going to get a dog, provide properly for it! Any pet deserves more than a cardboard shoe box for it's bed.

Unless you are an amazon and have enormous feet, there is not a dog that will fit in a shoe box comfortably.

Please don't get a dog. You're not ready for one. ☺
Reply:My chihuahua would. He sleeps in the bed with us however. He is spoiled rotten by my wife.
Reply:The stuffed kind.
Reply:Tea cup Chiuawawa.
Reply:toybox chihuahua
Reply:Teacup Yorkshire Terrier - there cute and freindly. Excellent lap dogs and companions.
Reply:there are a lot of 'dogs' that will fit in a shoe box ( I like to call them Rats that bark). I am hoping that you are using this as a size reference and not planning to keep a dog in a box though. Teacup yorkies, mini poms, mini dauchounds, etc are all under 10lbs and should fit in that size range. But PLEASE remember dogs are almost as big of commitment as a child is, most live 10-20 years.
Reply:That is not the way to choose a dog breed

instead so you have to look at things like personality, level of care, ease if trainingm energy level and temperament, a cost to care for, and if you are away part of the day are they a breed that is comfortable being alone, is it good to have around children or other dogs, to see if these attributes will fit your lifestyle and you have to research the breed carefully so as to know if you can care for it properly before ever buying one, plus it cost a lot of money to care for a dog

Dogs that are small enough to fit is a shoe box often need an extreme amount of care, they are generally very fragile as puppies and can die easily if over stressed, if diet is changed or if a meal time is missed they often require very frequent feedings because their tummies are so small, so is you are in school all day and other family members are working and the puppy is going to be alone more than 6 hours it would likely die. so a very poor choice in that case and when a puppy gets about 3 or 4 months old it will not stay in a shoe box it will be running all over and peeing and pooping everywhere and getting into mischief chewing and eating anything laying around, without proper training and confinement eg dog crate
Reply:er try a stuffed cuddly toy dog? why in the name of the wee man would you want to put a dog in a shoebox??????

That is just sick and personally I dont think you should get a dog if thats where it will be kept

Sorry just my opinion, would you keep a baby in a shoebox? No I didn't think so.
Reply:If you get a dog treat it like you want to be treated, but a yea cup size dog might work.
