How can I tell if these Louis Vuitton Shoes are real?

I bought them of a lady who was selling them in the local paper. They look genuine. She didn't have the original box or anything but assured me they were real and hey she looked pretty trusting. How can I tell?

I'm like a professional on Louis vuitton. it would be much easy if i had a picture to look at. but anyways the inside should say Louis Vuitton (of course) another thing it should say made in France. if its the monogram shoes then it should have a dark color to them if they are like a light color Brown then they are fake. also all Louis vuitton shoes have its name out side of the shoe maybe on the side or the back or even maybe even on the bottom. you may want to look for them on eBay or even in the Louis vuitton web site good look and hope i helped.

Reply:getr in touch with louis vuitton shoes, say on the web, designer shoes should have a specialized logo or mark on their products, it may show a pair on web try that or write to firm,they will explain what to look for, tell them you bought a pair, take photo send it, and they will state whether they are genuine or not, if not, well i would try and get my money back, and if they were advertised, then she has broken a standard trading law, stating a product is something when its not.
Reply:try looking for them on the louis vitton website. but if there not there it mite not mean there fake. they only keep new stuff on the pages. but u can try that..
Reply:I own 3 pair of authentic LV shoes, but I still can't tell you the exact way to tell...every style is different. If you want to know for sure here are two ways. 1. bring them to an LV store for authentification. 2. go to mypoupette.com and for a very small fee they can authenticate them for you through photos.

also acoording to how much u payed 4 them if its reasonable then maybe but if it seemed cheap they are probaly rip offs

Reply:just lift the insole up, if they are real they will have a double v stamped underneath
Reply:If they fall apart or break, then it's fake. Also it should say somewhere, maybe on the bottom of the shoe "Louis Vuittan" If it doesnt, then they are fake. Because people who try to make knock-offs arent allowed to used the name on their products. It's very illegal.
