book report project
How do you do a shoe box report project?
can you explain more in details?
Reply:Usually, you take a shoebox and decorate it with pictures of the charaters and important scenes/symbols from the story. Sometimes teachers will have you put items in the shoebox that represent something about the story. I found an example of one at this link...but there are many types. They are a lot more fun than regular book reports!

Reply:Your teacher will probably give you a list of things he's looking for but here's the one my son did.
He read the book "Flying Dragon" (a historical fiction story about post war France).
His "report" was a shoe box diorama
On the outside of the shoe box he had to decorate three sides with scenes or images from the story. (we found photos of post war France from the net and printed them)
Inside the box he had to have 5 - 10 items that represented something from the book. He had to know what each item repersented. He had a few action figure toys he put in to represent characters in the book and he had a wizard and dragon to represent the king and the dragon like castle of the story.
He had to write out three index cards summarizing the book.
He then had to present this shoe box diarama to his class and explain everything and answer questions.
This type of report is good if you don't like writing out book reports.
Its also good for the teacher since its hard to do this type of report unless you have actually read the book cover to cover.
Here's an article about shoe box reports:

Reply:it depends on the type of shoe box report that you hane to do
Reply:Classic Book Report Diorama Project
You will be making a Diorama as your project for this book report. Since you will have over a month to complete this project your project should be of high quality. Your project should demonstrate pride of workmanship. You must include the title of the book, the name of the author, and number of pages with each project.
