Anyone putting together a shoe box for charity this Xmas?

What can I put in it apart from flannel, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, pencils, eraser, sharpener, ruler. What else? We are doing a boy and a girl. (7-10yrs)

did you know that they open all boxes and spread the contents around between different boxes!!- so you think you are buying for one child but really your buying for many!!


for a girl- bobbles- hair clips- notepads- gloves scarf-hat- socks!-£1 for 4 pairs in Tesco!!)- stickers


you can go on and on- and its amazing how much they add up to!!
Reply:Absolutely! This is something I wouldn't miss. We've also put in: matchbox cars, small puzzles, hard candy (that won't melt) or gum, small coloring books or journals, that kind of thing.

This year my church is sending Xmas presents to Eastern Europe.Be careful with toy guns and soldiers ...
Reply:hat, gloves, socks, wipes, comb/brush, underwear, colouring book, notepad, hair bands/clips...

Reply:Try a playstation. They dont want things like pencils and rulers nowadays.
Reply:you can put in clothes, toys-bouncy balls,you can also put in gum but it's not recommended.
