Ideas for India Culture Shoe Box?

My daughter has to do an indian culture shoebox. Any suggestions to stuff we can find or make around the house to put in it? Time period is Ancient India.

Don't you love these projects, my daughter did the Ancient Anistazi Native Americans. We built scaled homes that look similar to what we found on the internet. We tried to make the village look like the places in the American west where they were found.





Perhaps you could do a villiage in India, maybe find an ancient temple that was being built, in the background. Make it from clay, or wood, to look like stone. With the fields looking like they are being farmed, a few cows, and maybe a Tiger in the woods.

Theyre Nike and they look like air force ones but on the sides there is not air in writing but there is NIKE. I know that they are not fake because I got them in UK at Nike outlet. They have leather all over them which is black and the swoosh is crocodile-like white leather and the box says" fleet center SL"

What shoes can I wear that won't irritate my toe?

I know this might sound a little gross but a while back, the doctor removed my entire toenail and it has grown back most of the way but part of it hasn't. It seems like it stopped growing. So, if I have to dress up to go somewhere, I can't wear close toed heels because it puts pressure on my toe where it hasn't grown back yet. Then I'm not much of a fan for flats. I'm looking for something that's closed toed and that I can wear with a skirt or something dressy...something with a roomy toe box. I'm kinda trying to avoid heels. Any ideas?

I'd say try a wedge. That can be dressy and casual, depending on what outfit you wear it with.

Also, UGG boots or any type of boot that gives your foot a little bit of room in the front.

Does it matter where I store my shoes?

Is storing them in my room against my wall (in their original boxes) good? If sunlight and heat are an issue in the summer, it's okay because they can't get any sunlight in the box, and I have a central air system. So, if I keep them in their original box and I stack them against the wall, will that do any harm?

wtf?? no you cant turn soft ballet shoes into pointe shoes. go buy pointe shoes.
Reply:No, sorry. However you can turn a pointe shoe into a soft shoe which strengthens your feet faster during class.





Definitely buy real pointe shoes so you don't risk hurting yourself with ballet shoes.
Reply:No sorry it doesn't work that way. A pointe shoe is special because it has a plaster molding which makes it hard(aka the box)soft ballet shoes (canvas, leather) are not meant so support your body. If you attempt to go up on pointe in soft shoes, you can really injure your foot. If you want to look like a ballerina you are going to have to get pointe shoes, and take classes to strengthen your feet. GOOD LUCK!!!

Reply:well kind of but dont before the pointe shoe we have today was made all a pointe shoe was was a ballet soft shoe with a bit of startch on it!! then they added a box but it was still flimsy then the put the shank in but you cant do it yourself it would be good if you could though!!
