Have any idea what to do with old shoe boxes?

Freshen up the box with some potpourri, and then decorate them with paper mache or some beads, anything that your imagination brings you.

You can use them boxes to store stuff like your stationery or even your accessories!

Have fun!

Have any idea what to do with old shoe boxes?
Store pictures in them. Or use for packing small items to mail this holiday, just wrap in brown paper. Store 'junk' in them, use to store off-season shoes so they don't get dusty.
Reply:Yes. You use them to store empty plastic 35mm canisters until you find out a way to get rich with them.

Geeze, I shouldn't answer this cuz I'm still saving coffee cans! And my aunts are still saving wrapping paper to decorate the shoe boxes.

(reminder for young folks born after the 1960's: shoe box utilization was very important, and would be endlessly discussed by Martha Stewart and Oprah if we would have had them in our time. Thank God we didn't. )
Reply:I always keep old shoe boxes. Lots of things can be done with them. I put CD and DVDs in them. I will sometimes also use them as "junk boxes" or even closet organizers.
Reply:Throw them away, if you are not going to store shoes in them.
Reply:Recycle by using them to store mail/bills.
Reply:start a hobby collecting stuff in shoeboxes
Reply:Sell them .
Reply:I store stuff in mine. Have thought of covering with paper and clear acrylic to stiffen them up a bit, as the lids break easily.
Reply:I will just keep them in a store room where i keep all this things and use them as storage for some other material or use them to send co rear to some friends who r not in India OK babe bye.
Reply:Maybe donate them to an elementary school for use in making projects
Reply:They are great to use if you paint over them or get the kids to cover them with their own special artistic touch, then they can use them as their 'special' box for special things, they can also be used for toys and collectors cards. Also for yourself, you can use them to store photos or reciepts or recipies or even decorate them and use them to store make up or nail polish and the possibilities are endless if you use your imagination..hope that helps.
Reply:You can use them to storage all these useless things we all keep in our houses and for some strange reason refuse to throw away.

You also wrap them with colorful paper that matches your bedroom pile them up put a decorative ornament on top and there you go. A nice little corner.

You also glue them together and make a small bookcase out of them just to put light books or put in on the floor, put inside some decorative stuff put a glass on top of it and make them a small table
Reply:Paint them or cover them with paper and use them as storage.
Reply:Donate them to your local school. The kids make stuff with them.
Reply:I use them to store small stuff like all my husbands little things that he leaves laying around like bolts and screws and stuff like that.
Reply:Try decorating them with old/used gift wrapper and using them for storing smaller items in....my daughter stacks them up to make a dollhouse (each box is a room in the house) and a couple she uses as cars or a bus for her dolls by adding jars or empty paper roll or toilet rolls as wheels.
